2007.

The very first rumblings that Ford was looking at ways to officially bring back the Bronco came to my attention.

Another 10 years of concepts, false hope, rumors, speculation... Then the real deal started trickling in. Camo testers, headlight teasers.

Then July 13th, 2020. Take my money Ford!

It wouldn't be until Dec 6th that I would have my 2 Door Badlands. And I was one of the lucky ones.

So, I may not be part of the group, now. But I was a founding member, to be sure.

I love my Bronco, and I almost feel like it was worth the 15 year wait to get it.

Yea, early res and not even scheduled. Hoping I get a 2023, but thinking a 2024 is more a safe assumption. These years have been long and completely deflating, I feel like there are still years to come of waiting. Never even been previewed.

Just cannot fathom the justification of Ford who can make the same exact build for a friend who ordered in January 2022 with no res, and deliver in March 2022.

Nah, you can steep tea leaves when you are done not getting information from them.
I found its who you get online ,some seem to really try to get you info and some you get nothing.

I ordered in Dec 21 and didn't expect to get my Bronco until 2023. I'm happy that mine is being shipped but think it's kinda screwed. I have a buddy who ordered his in the first weeks orders were open and still doesn't have a vin. so confusing.

Ha! I laugh & cry. I'm nearing 700 days with no VIN. Current mood: hungry salty and sour....

Some of the stories would be hard to believe if I didn't have a buddy in the same boat. He believes it is he "Big Volume Dealer" that is what is causing his wait.

I'm planning on ordering a second Bronco in August when the ordering reopens. Have lost all faith in getting my original order from two years ago. Will take which ever one comes first and you dealer can have the other. Dealer would love a highly optioned Badlands to put on the .lot

I will add my experience to this. Didn't get in on the reservation madness because "never buy a first year anything." I'd watch all the drama with some sort of sadism because #not my problem. Then Armageddon lasted longer than expected, so screw it, might as well get in line because every apocalypse needs a horseman. Being an order holder is batshit insanity and depravity. It's worse than waiting on taxidermy. My midlife crisis could be over by the time it gets here. . .

😂 😂 That's the best one in awhile. I understand skipping the first year model, I did the same. With how things are now, I feel I might not have dodged the bullet. O well, I'll have fun until it breaks and I'm sure I'll get my money out of the extended warranty (it's a Ford).

I wish my crystal ball had been working at the time…
Back when a local dealership got its first non-demo model, I was given an opportunity to buy it at msrp. It wasn’t what I had ordered, so I passed. I believe another member here scooped it up. Kind of regretting that. I could have had plenty of good times driving that waiting for my order. Still waiting…
