This is my favorite definition from investopedia.com: "Your car is considered a consumer product, and consumer products can depreciate. A car is a depreciating asset that loses value over time but retains some worth. Because you can convert a vehicle to cash, it can be defined as an asset."

Who knows what will happen in 10, 20, 30 years down the road with our Broncos. It's all speculation. A whole lot of Broncos Gen 1 through 5 ended up in the crusher when people were done with them. More cars are made every day. Cars are generally not great financial products and the 6th gen bronco is just another car. Who knows maybe the 7th gen will blow the 6th out of the water.

But aside from all the financial stuff, life is short and broncos are cool.

I’ve got a couple of special cars. I drive them 1000 a year each. I don’t really go anywhere anymore as I get older. It’s a stretch to even drive them 1000 miles a year.
When I bought them my goal was to break even in 20 years and drive them for free. As ford has increased their “special “ mustang prices to $120,000 and hasn’t made a convertible version since 2014 of them. It’s made the gt500 go back up in value quicker. I think I might even make profit on it when I do sell it. But when accounting for inflation I doubt I will

Didn't read the whole thread, but IMO the '13 / '14 Mustangs were the best body style (including lighting, lines, etc) Interior was simple yet amazing as well. Loved my '13 GT Premium, wish I had kept it, can't believe my '22 Bronco doesn't have user selectable steering stiffness, colors, etc :(
