Bronco Build Week 6/17/24

Starting a build week for June 17th!

I ordered a manual 4 door soft top Big Bend in Race Red (with mid package, tow hitch, and rear locking differential) only a week and a half ago.
I guess my dealer had lots of allocations, plus the soft top probably helped get it scheduled as well.

I had a scheduled build week of 6/10 but it was just bumped to 6/17. Order submitted April 5 and confirmed by Ford on April 18. I hope it doesn't slip more (totally know others have had very long slips, so sympathetic to you all).

Can't wait.

Going to add the dv8 bull bar, a white thick decal from underground graphics, and fogs.

Is it still possible to modify it for the black painted hardtop?

I dont think so, as I think that would push the order back to the next job batch, but I am going to call and check to be sure.

if it becomes a Job #2 build, you will lose the 2.7L. Outer Banks only gets the 2.3L.

I ordered a OBX on 3/25 and got bumped from 5/27 to 6/3 to 6/10.. not bumped to 6/17 (yet). Mine is a 2.3L non-Sas, I wonder if the hard top is part of the holdup.

Just happened to check (who am I kidding, I check every day) on my 6/17 build date Bronco and today it showed as "In Production" whoo hoo!!

That's awesome. Congrats! We have the exact same vehicle and specs ordered, however I ordered mine 1/16/24 and still have not moved into production. Wild.

Where are you located? What has your dealer said? That seems like something is wrong with the order, the dealer, or some random reason that it keeps getting pushed.

Anyone see their "in production' June builds finish yet? Mine was a June 17 week, on 6/11 it went to in production, have a window sticker, but no updates since. Any idea on how long in production lasts? OR does it just depend?

Mine was a 6/10 week, moved to "in production" on 6/5 and has been there since. Last updated 6/12 (which was the blend date according to the sticker). Waiting for another update soon

I got an update on 6/25 for my 6/17 build date saying “We’ve made great progress on your new Ford vehicle but have unfortunately experienced unexpected delays.”

but then today it went from production to BUILT - awaiting shipment.

Exciting! Can't wait to get it. looks like it is shipping via rail to Spencer, MA. Hopefully it gets picked up soon!

Late reply.. been out of the country for two weeks, but to answer your question:

I'm in Nashville, TN. Rep at the dealership said he's also waiting on his Bronco that's a similar build and has no update on the delay/timeline. Can't really get any guidance or insight on what's with the delay. Just sitting patiently hoping for good news in the next month or two before I begin looking at buying one off a lot.
