Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

I refused to change. I was going to get what I want or nothing at all.

This was me. The only changes we ever made were to:
- Color. We had to drop Cyber Orange so went to Velocity Blue. Once Eruption Green was announced we immediately bounced to that.
- Tow Package. I dropped it looong ago when it was a big constraint and never re-added. I'll put one on later for carrying a tray for longer trips or for towing a small overlanding trailer I have yet to build.

I wanted what I ordered. A 2-Door, Badlands, Squatch, V6, Lux, hard-top, etc. I knew/know that if I compromised and dropped options when they begged us to that I'd never ever look at the truck and be 100% happy, no matter how nice it ended up being. There'd always be that "I could have been looking at a 12" screen instead of this tiny 8" thing" or "This could have been a Sasquatch version"(yes I know I could lift it later) just hanging out at the back of my mind.

I'm #550 this week. We'll see what happens.

I doubt any of our complaining helped, but I'm glad Ford finally decided to help the dealers with more orders than allocation. I really thought they were going to leave us out to hang.

Me too. I had about 99% concluded that I wouldn’t be scheduled in 2023, and that was gonna be the end of it.

I was lucky enough to go in and actually see mine on the line. Thing didn’t finish until almost 2am…

Showing as built this morning. Blend date was yesterday.

I had no modules when I went to bed at 9pm West Coast time and they were fully populated this morning at 4AM and showing as built.

Today's is the the day. I'm number 171 on the line so I figure a mid morning completion. Can't wait to see "built" on this very long process. My 2024 GMC AT4 HD 3500 that I ordered end of January is built and left Flint yesterday so maybe the Bronco won't be far behind it.
