Yeah, I was thinking not so much the trying to contain leaks, but more in the sense of controlling access... Lessen the size of tidal wave, so to speak...
Why, they should be able to get 30 or 40 sales from the large membership.
I'd love that just because it would help mitigate traffic flow on the site but I don't think Ford has ever done that for a vehicle before (someone please chime in if I'm wrong). Ford know we are all foaming at the mouth for the Build and Price and I truly believe they have created an algorithm that tells them the optimal time to release it based on consumer interest, market volatility, and the other 100 factors the bean counter's dictate. Yes the time should of been 6 weeks ago as of today but they want to draw this out as long as they can because its free publicity.
Just as much as I am hoping to get 1 Truck, I hope Ford gets a second 165,000 orders. Because right near the Bronco shifter there is a made in Dearborn, USA stamp. We are all collectively stimulating the economy going into a massive economic boom for our country. I'm going to get a made in the USA bumper sticker for my Bronco.
