Tried searching for this, but most everything comes back to the headlights turning on by themselves issue.
That’s not what is happening here.
My dash is going in to night mode. The darker coloring and the little Bronco has its headlights on.
But my headlights aren’t on. The headlight icon is not on either. I’m parked in bright sunlight. Even tried a flashlight on the sensor. Dash will get brighter but stays in night mode. Anyone run in to this?
It makes no difference if I turn on the headlights manually, or turn them off.

it just started doing it today.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Is the center screen going into night mode as well? There is a toggle in settings to be permanently in day or night mode, maybe it somehow got flipped?

I've got the negative on the battery disconnected for a bit to see if it resets anything. Will connect it back after work.

Maybe try flipping it between the settings to see if that snaps it back after you reconnect the battery

Ok, after having the battery unplugged for a while and reconnecting it, it's working as normal now.

Guess software glitch...
