Body Armor - Protective Moldings install?

Does anyone know if these are installed at the factory or dealer installed? Also, do you know what install entails?

Dealer install or if you want to install them yourself, have them sent to your home. They are installed using adhesive. I went with dealer install due to having some other work done anyway.
