Has anybody figured out why the Ford winch doesn’t work with the standard Black Diamond with the modular bumper? Has anybody else installed another winch system on a Black Diamond with a modular bumper?

I just wish someone would explain why it won't with the BD.I’m still awaiting a solution as well. Not psyched about anything available yet.
I've been here a long time and likely missed the threads discussing this. But why can't the BD and modular bumper work with the factory Warn winch? The Everglades is essentially a BD with Mid+ and it has it.Has anybody figured out why the Ford winch doesn’t work with the standard Black Diamond with the modular bumper? I searched, and I don't think there is a proper explanation why the Ford winch doesn’t work with the standard Black Diamond with the modular bumper. I you know, please help.Yes, several write ups about the installations. “Search“ feature at the top right.
You keep repeating it. But why? It certainly isn't a camera as the MID package doesn't have it. It's not the modular bumper as it is required for the winch plate. It could be the 2.7L as the intercooler would be positioned right behind the winch.I searched, and I don't think there is a proper explanation why the Ford winch doesn’t work with the standard Black Diamond with the modular bumper. It looks like the Everglades has the upgraded headlights. Not sure if that is the reason, but if you look at which models are not compatible with Ford’s Warn Winch, it is all the models that do not have the better headlights. You keep repeating it. But why? On the Everglades, which is a BD with MID+, it has the factory winch. It also only comes with the 2.3L.
That's not it. They are just plug and play. someone in another thread on the Everglades equated the trim to a parts bin Bronco. That is why I denoted it as BD MID+. You get basically a Sasquatch Black Diamond with unique interior, 12" screen, Badlands grill, Signature lights, unique wheels, snorkel, roof rack, squared flares, winch and more.It looks like the Everglades has the upgraded headlights. Just a thought.
I’ve asked Ford this question and they said, from a senior engineer, the issue is the standard lights, they apparently aren’t sufficient when the Ford winch, which extends a bit is installed. Doesn’t meet Govt code, whatever that means.I searched, and I don't think there is a proper explanation why the Ford winch doesn’t work with the standard Black Diamond with the modular bumper.
