I bought this 2" tall aftermarket accessory for about $7, so unfortunately I am now forced to stick with my SAS order despite any discount Ford wants to give me for changing.

Oh it's definitely more interesting that you now insist it's a "joke". Again, when you think about other guys' inches, I don't judge. All are welcome here.
then why bring it up? Are you a bigot ??

Dude, you're adorable. It's probably better for you to just let it go. Enjoy your day. No one wants to read our comments. Go enjoy your Sasquatch.

Or your Bronco is just channeling it’s inner Squatch 😁

Just here to say we should make official autocorrect for B6G. I’d like to submit we use the term wheels not rims. What’s a rim? I mean seriously.
as an oldhead, this is how I have always differentiated it...

Rim = metal, attachment point for the lugs
Tire = the literal rubber that mounts on the rim
Wheel = rim and tire combo

but that's just me.

Not sure what you are even trying to say here dude...
I think what he is saying is that a half an inch can mean the difference between bottoming out and not… on the bumps that is.

Just got the badlands and even without SAS it’s already higher than most vehicules on the road. It’s extremely off-road capable without the 35. You can always start with the 33s and see how many times during the year you get “stuck” or high centred when going off-road to see if you need those 35s. It really depends on the type of trails you plan to do.

I have the Smittybilt X20 Gen3 10k winch with synthetic rope, mounted to the Rough Country high winch mount. It's a really nice fit actually.
Do the wires from the winch still come out the back of the Gen3? Or do they come out the front? I thought I read somewhere routing the wiring of the Gen3 was more difficult - do you know if there is any truth to this?

Thanks!

The wires are in the back of the winch. Here's how it sits on my rig.

Coming from a sedan, I felt the non-Sas badlands is a huge car with great ground clearance already. I don't live near Moab or Colorado so I'm happy with with non-SAS in the northwest. Mostly used to get to trailheads, drive dirt roads for fun, overland, etc. If i lived in Moab or Colorado then SAS is more of a must because there is more cool places to drive to.
