Hi guys,
Former Night 1 Reservation guy here. Had to originally cancel my reservation, stayed away from here because I knew owning one was now further away but now im back for my dream car.

I’ve been trying to study the forum all day to get back up to speed. Seeing all of your beautiful Broncos has only made me want one more!

as I see it:
-no more reservations
-ADM seems a lot more common now (damn)

Can some kind soul update me on the best ways to properly find a 2023 non-Raptor? Looking for a Big Bend Sasquatch. Thank you!

night-1 reservations have seen a lot of frustration/grief - maybe you saved the trouble

why not search Cargurus / Carvana / Carmax and buy one off the lot
- search nationwide - can ship less than $1k
- many dealers still charge MSRP or close, especially simpler models
- or buy used

A) if you place order, then ' Scheduling ' torture/lottery - potentially endless
- ask thousands of day-1 reservations still waiting

B) if you somehow get scheduled w VIN#, then ' Production ' torture/lottery - potentially endless
- ask thousands currently stuck in ' Holding Lots '

C) save yourself the endless torture & insults - just buy one that's already built

Bottom Line - throughout this Bronco-6G odyssey Ford has repeatedly proven:

__ Dealers come First, customers come LAST __

P.S. - if shopping 2.7L, check engine build-date

find a high volume dealership and get there when the order banks reopen on 8/15.

Order one, or buy one $5-20K over sticker. If there was some magical way to get a Bronco quicker then anyone else we'd all be doing it.

I was much more fortunate find a smaller/mid size dealer that didn't have a lot of Bronco buyers. They delivered my Bronco 6 months to the day after order. They have really good truck sales, not so much in Bronco. Try dealers located in more rural farm communities. Do your research and talk to various dealers. Based on your location I'm sure there are tons of folks who could recommend good dealers. ADM is a thing right now on almost any new car on the lot, but many dealers will not add ADM if you place a special order. Good luck and hope by the time MY23's come it will be a 3-4 production time.

The LIGHTNING is a very similar launch and two days ago.

"A rural Michigan man became the first person in the nation to receive a Ford F-150 Lightning, according to Bloomberg. Nicholas Schmidt, the chief technology officer of a grid optimization startup, took delivery Thursday of a silver electric truck at Richardson Ford, a dealership in the small town of Standish, Michigan."

By now, there's plenty of information on dealers selling a MSRP, so do a little research and you won't pay ADM. Are you getting the mid package?

I would go to a local dealer you trust or one your friends trust. Tell them what your thinking and what you want. Ask them if they have constraints and see what type of ballpark for delivery you’re looking at when ordering resumes. Between that you should get a pretty good idea on what will delay a build compared to what will go through.

OP does not list his location, other than USA.

Fastest way to a Bronco is to order a 4-door soft top from a medium to large size dealer in snow country.

Otherwise, just go to a local dealer you trust (I talked to 3 local dealers before deciding on mine) and order what you actually want.

The big items that will put you at the end of the line are:
MIC Top
2-door
Tow package is still unreasonably constrained.
7MT is also widely believed to be a contstraint, but Ford has never officially said so (to my knowledge)

I think you’re right that the 7MT is a constraint because everyone in my build week that had a manual got moved out except 2-4 of us I believe. It was 20% manuals and quickly became like 2% in my week. Sadly I don’t have mine still because of a “plant hold”.

Quickest way to buy one right now seems to buy one off Carvana but they’re $10K over MSRP basically.

Thanks everyone. I feel more up to speed now for sure

Looking for a 4 door Big Bend Sasquatch (2.7)
I’m in the South but I’d love to fly somewhere and drive back.
MIC isn’t a big need for me yet. Basically hoping to get this for under $44k to fit the budget.

alright. Back to checking out pics of your Broncos!
