Holy crap, there was some lucky people in that Bronco.

I was looking on "Coparts" yesterday for some Ranger stuff, and just for something to do I searched "Bronco Sport". There are quite a few "roll overs" listed. I'm guessing there are a lot of inexperienced off roaders getting in over their heads.

100%. The problem will be the owners that push the Sport beyond it's intended use. They will see people posting crazy stuff on FB & YT and think hey, that looks fun. In a shot time the soon realize they do not have the skills needed to safely pull of the same maneuver. In this case based on the photos the terrain was well within the Sports capability which puts the cause solely on the driver.

Isn't that true of any vehicle really? People make mistakes. Thank God nobody has been keeping count of mine.

In this case Ford is selling these as "Go over any terrain" (GOAT). If first time off-roaders are buying these and hitting the trails thinking that the GOAT modes will make it safe and OK there will be many more accidents and damage reports. Same case can be made for a new or inexperienced driver in a GT500.

I wouldn't buy a sport, but I'm not a teenage girl either. I looked at one and it felt more like a Geo Tracker than a Bronco. Meh.

After watching Matt's Off Road Recovery channel for a while you'll find that people will get into the most utterly unbelievable predicaments. Bronco Sport out there in the rocks and dirt, yeah I get it. But to see a Prius or minivan somewhere they shouldn't be is just a head shaker.

And if you saw this one you give have no hope for humanity. Either that or this lady is a witch.

That was a pretty easy get in the end. They almost replicated her mistake getting turned around to leave, sans a couple extra inches of back end lift.

Time for an aftermarket company to be thinking about a wide-body/wide-track lift kit (+ more travel). I want to hit a tight turn at 60 mph on dirt and not worry about flipping.
