Stupid question, what are these things for??

Okay, sorry... I'm thick-headed this morning apparently. Should have been able to connect the dots when Baja Designs was mentioned, but nope, I definitely not. Instead, I was sitting here thinking..."there is literally nothing on the interior of the Bronco that is shaped like that".
