Dumb question, and yes I Googled..but what is an upfitter in the context of lights?
You don’t know until you know, so good question. ‘Upfitter’ refers to the Aux Switches. If you don’t have them, then you’d need a toggle switch cable run through the dash.

Here are also the Amp rating on the bronco. A single XL pro is 2.9 amps and for a pair 5.8 amps. You can get away with wiring them up to any switch no problem. The Upfitter is referring to the harness that connects to the aux on the vehicle instead of having to run a toggle switch into the cabin.
Best,

The Upfitter version does not come with an external switch, you would wire it to the Upfitter switches if your Bronco was equipped.
