In baja designs XL vs squadron, I'm not seeing any real output difference. In pro or sport Versions between the two. Am I missing something?

So basically the Squadron and XL are essentially the same lumen output. However the XL are a larger housing and use larger reflectors so the light might appear brighter/wider, especially down range. XL also feature a 2nd wire which drops the output level by about 50% (although our pillar kits don't have this wired in, because honestly nobody uses that feature).

Go with XL if you want a larger housing (thus "XL") and go with Squadron if you want a smaller housing. But otherwise the output levels will pretty much be the same (as far as measurements go). XL might spread he light further as I mentioned but it's still the same amount of light down range, just in a broader pattern.

I prefer the look of the XL on an a-pillar over the Squadron.
