Originally was scheduled to be built in July, then 8/16, and now part of the fun push back to the Aug 30. The wife is due November 28th.

Running gag between us now is what's gonna come first, the bronco or the baby?. Hopefully there's not some Aug 30 logjam as it looks like a lot of production getting shifted to then...

Also fun note to add to the frustration (venting here)...I've been driving a 98 escort in the mean time as a cheapo commuting car while I've been waiting (don't worry wife gets to drive a 2020 mazda we leased). I cannot wait to ditch that go kart death wagon. Just when I think I'm close to getting rid of it....boom two more weeks of delay...aarrghghrrhhh

Same boat! My blend date is June 28th, and my wife is due August 30th. We joke about how my best friends will need to be present for the birth while I go pick up the bronco.

Ditto to OP, however I didn't have a build date prior, was stuck in "Order in Processing" after being moved a few times (schedule in Signature)

Hmm if the timing over your '98 Escort is really critical I guess you could cancel both orders, compromise, and get a Baby Bronco instead?

Baby first, then Bronco in 2 months. At least it's 2 months and not another year like it is for some of us!

A delay of two more weeks isn't enough to cancel my order. I'm just over driving the escort. Not gonna lie I did contemplate just dropping my order and buying a wrangler...but that was just short term reptilian brain desire of immediate gratification. It's coming, the post was just a vent and for laughs.

Also I only ordered one bronco (unless you were suggesting I cancel my baby? Oof dark humor lol)...couldn't do a bronco sport need my removable top and 35s

It was definitely that. A regrettable joke.

Cancel Bronco order? No way in hell.
Cancel baby order? NO WAY IN HELL.
Drive a Bronco Sport? probably somewhere between the two in order of severity.

You're story is very similar to mine! We were due July 4th with a original bronco delivery of June. Ended up with the baby first and bronco came middle of July.

I'll take your 98 Escort and raise you a free rusted 92 styleside f150 while the wife drove my f250.

Hope you get your car soon!

Baby will come first if you have a MIC top. There are a number of us who were "in production" late June & July (me July 22), who are still waiting for the "built" email and the "shipped" email. Complete radio silence from Ford.

Dude start negotiating now with the hospitals in the area and see which one will deliver the baby at 3% below invoice.

Also start saving money. Once both arrive, you'll want to lift the Bronco and your wife will want a lift...of the Bronco too!
