Auxiliary Switches in Overhead console

The aux switches and rear locker are items that I can see being misunderstood as standard features on this vehicle by those who don't know better. And by that I mean people buying them used. They add up to ~$1k which is nothing to sneeze at but I could see them paying back in resale value.

I ordered them on my OBX. I will never use them but figured when I sell it’ll be a added feature for someone that will.

OBX owner...

We opted not to get the aux switches and I'm already regretting it.

Does anyone know if the wiring is already there? There is a cluster of wiring under the hood that I'm thinking is for the aux switches.. Has anyone taken the sunglass holder down to see if the wires are there?

I think this may be one of the rare occasions when “from the factory” may actually be cheaper than after market parts.

I had zero intentions of actually using the aux switches, but ordered them just in case. Also, good for resale.
