AutoNation Ford Katy. Smh!!!

People tell me that I’m part of the problem when I say I have 3 orders in the system right now. This is why I have so many. If dealers were honest, I would only have 1 order.
No, I’m not part of the problem. Dealers are the problem and there is absolutely no accountability in this market.
Sucks to hear your situation didn’t pan out. At least you have another order in the system as back up. Good for you.

Literally have had the worst experience with My22 Bronco Order. AutoNation Ford Katy, in Katy, Texas is a total joke and I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with them. Aaron Lewis who is the sale person I thought I was doing business with is the last person you want buy a vehicle from. On October 15, 2021, I walked into AutoNation Ford Katy to place my order for my 2022 Bronco. He told me he would make sure my order was put in but never did. Every time I would email him regarding the order he would tell me that order banks were still closed. Mind the fact that Ford has been notifying the public when order banks opened back up, so it wasn't a secret or a "Ford Exclusive" message. I tried to be patient and not bother him, but now it's March 24th, 2022 and still nothing. By now order banks are closed there is a huge lack of communication. I finally get a reply back to my Email and Aaron Lewis states he has his own process of putting in orders and that he hasn't put in my order yet. Meaning I will now have to wait for a 2023 Bronco. I got in contact with his Sales Manager Lewis Chavez and he pretty much laughed in my face saying that I missed the deadline and if Aaron says the order bank's weren't open then they aren't open. I told Lewis Chavez about the other order I had at Ford Mac Haik and he tried to tell me that the order was a fake. After calling Ford in front of him to verify the other order, he tried making excuses to how I end up with an actual order instead of just acknowledging his sales guy messed up. Contacted Ford to see if they could provide any assistance and they pretty much said they will file a report but thats really all they could do. Really disappointed to see this is how everything is playing out. One of many horror story's that Ford and the Dealerships won't even take responsibility for. But I would highly suggest not doing business with AutoNation Ford Katy. They will not take you seriously.

I bought my 22 VB BD 2DR over a month ago from AutoNation Ford Katy. Derek Reutlinger was my salesman and he was earnest and straightforward the entire time. Bought my Bronco at MSRP as promised. No complaints.

Yeah a few people were telling me about another salesman named Robb who is pretty good. But thats sad to see not even the sale manager can be honest. Not good for business.

What’s call diversifying assets?

Loyalty is a word you should look up. If the first guy did a good job for you the 1st time, you should have used him again, you probably wouldn’t be telling this story.

Honestly this story doesn’t make a lot of sense, somethings missing.

I didnt know the guy would work if I put in 2 orders at the same time. They could have both failed. The process is not done yet. So many people didn't find out they were dealing with a dirty dealership until after their Bronco arrived. So once this transaction is done then maybe I can say he did everything correctly but its not over yet. You have all the emails. Nothing is being hidden lol. But you can keep trying to find something. I encourage all help and suggestions.

I see emails with a 5 month gap in communication….and also you created a profile here 2 days after the order banks closed…..so how interested were you in buying this vehicle in the 1st place?

Just because you have emails, doesn’t mean that’s the whole story. Seems to me car salesman don’t make money if they don’t sell a car, and I’m pretty sure he knows how to order a car. And your also saying it was for your girlfriend, why didn’t she order it? Seems to me that if she wanted a bronco , and was going for the a top end trim, then she probably should be ordering and following up on it. I mean how did think this was all going to go down when you come in to buy the bronco and it’s not for you?

You would think he would want to sell the car. But he also didn't submit the order so apparently not. Why does that not stand out to you?

Well as of Thursday of last week, they still have my build save away somewhere waiting to be ordered. I didn't ask them to trash it but im not going to follow along with it either. It's pretty much just there.
