2.7L Automatic Badlands Sasquatch. I've been wheeling my Bronco for a bit and one thing I notice is that when in 4LO it shifts really hard into 2nd gear. RPM goes pretty high and then when it shifts the Bronco surges forward due to the RPM. If I shift it manually at reasonable RMP with the +/- it completely smooth.

Anyone else having this issue? Should I user Forscan to have some modules relearn?

I've noticed this too and I'd say it's normal and though annoying, to be expected. With the torque multiplication of low range you can really feel that shift, especially if you're giving it throttle. I wish it would allow you to select a second or third gear start in low range, but it will downshift to first every time when stopped even in M. Even my old LJ Wrangler with the 4spd auto would do this, when you selected '2' it would still start in '1' and have that annoying shift. My other Fords will allow a 2 gear start when in M
