Arb air hose fitting failure.

My arb air hose melted at joint. Anyone know how to take it off and repair. I unscrewed it but it just keeps spinning.

Aren’t those fittings usually crimped onto the hose?

Seems you could unscrew the quick connect off the fitting and crimp a new NPT fitting on the hose at a shop, or use a barbed NPT fitting with a clamp

I would contact ARB, they’d probably replace it for you.

I had the little tab that holds the air chuck onto the valve stem fall off on my ARB portable. They replaced the chuck for free no questions asked, even though I initially contacted them to find out where I could buy a replacement.

ARB customer service is top notch. They’ll likely be able to assist.

When I had an issue installing my ARB compressor they were extremely helpful and quick to respond.

That's crazy that this isn't an advertised feature, bush/trail fixable! Two wrenches and a knife and your back to airing up...

Agreed. When I bought my compressor it was shipped in its box that was loose in a bigger box. So it slid around everywhere and cracked the main electrical connector. Seller wouldn’t do anything. Contacted ARB and they sent me a new connector right away.

I had the same issue, fixed it easily by watching this video:

I did the same thing. You have to watch that the rubber protector is pushed all the way to the end of the hose to protect it from the heat. We also had one of the two fuses blow on my friends setup so he only had one of the dual pumps running so carry extra fuses as well.
