Anyone with experience with the ssc2 2.0 diode dynamic lights?

They have been out for a bit now. I really prefer the compact look of those and the stock non signature headlights are really not awesome and the high beams frankly are insufficient.

Been wanting a set of the new ssc2 but haven’t found any great review videos showing them off. Looking at getting the pros in a fog and either the driving or combo pros as well to be able to see deer better further down the road….maybe I really need the ssc3s for this but cost wise and style wise I really just like the ssc2 more. I see @4x4TruckLEDs.com is running a sale right now so was thinking of picking them up.

If anyone has any pictures I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Ended up ordering a set of the ssc2 max fogs and ss3 pro combos.

I’ll try to do a video of the ssc2s once I get them installed since there are pretty much no videos of these and then post a review when I’m done.

almost wish I had gotten a set of the fog lenses for the ss3 for comparison but here we are.

down the road is it easy enough to add in an ssc3 in the wiring you guys setup for those? I assume there’s a separate wire for each light to hook up to the aux switches with the setup you guys do?

would you recommend the combo light or the sae driving light….im basically going to use the non fog light to function as a high beam on backroads in deer country to avoid a new hood ornament. I’m guessing I could get the extra set of lenses to swap out as well for that. Do you also sell the extra cover plates if I wanted to have a set for the other bean pattern for when I’m just driving around in town.

Yes we provide our triple harness so that you can add a 3rd pair of lights later.

I would go with SS3 Max in White Fog, SS3 Max in Yellow Fog if you were doing a 2 light setup. But since you mentioned the SSC2... go with SSC2 Max in white Fog and SSC2 Max in Yellow Fog.

If you don't care about a yellow fog then

SSC2 Max in White Fog and SSC2 Max in Combo would be ideal.

I do prefer the yellow fog given the snow sleet crap we get here. Will the fogs still give me a long enough throw for deer in the boondocks. I guess I can just get the other lenses to play with given how cheap they are

It’s entirely up to you and what you need lighting for

fogs are for fog use (low and wide)
Combos for back roads
Spots for down range and distance although they aren’t wide at all)

If you want fogs and off-road lights for deer and you are set on SSC2... then SSC2 Max Fog and SSC2 Max Combo is what i'd do.... well I'd do SS3 but if you want SSC2 then do those.

If you go the SS3 route then SS3 Max Fog and SS3 Max Combo (or even Pros if you want to save $$ but I like the brightest)

Love my DD's....mine are the SS2's as well. Yellow! MUCH brighter than horrid stock headlights....I don't recommend buying from the outfit you're mentioning. NOT customer friendly, I've blocked them. Buy direct or from @ORACLE Lighting I think.

We're very friendly. You wanted to return an order to us 7 months after you received it and we explained that we could not take an order back that is 7 months old. I don't know any company that would. Then when we explained we could not due to the age you started getting nasty with us. I was nothing but polite/nice to you but you wanted to return something 7 months old. You then started to bash us every chance you get, all because we could not take a 7 month old order back...

It's easy to sit here and bash us without providing any context to why you are bashing us... your reason...because a company would not take a 7 month old order back...

So you'll need a pair of 2Banger lights and our harness to complete your kit. Optionally, our a-pillar bracket which helps sandwich the 2 cowl pieces down flat and makes for a cleaner installation.

Spot is ideal for distance, although with 2Bangers they are not that big so you're not going to get TOO FAR down range.

I do not recommend Flood at all. Flood are good for scene lighting/campsite lighting. If you aim them off to the sides, but your mirror would block the pattern so i'd say that's out of the question.

Spots down range is where you want to be in the 2Bangers... or Combos. Combos are wide and spot... but keep in mind it's a COMBO lens so the spot portion is not as defined as a dedicated spot and vice versa with the wide portion.

I'd recommend 4Bangers over 2Bangers in a Combo since it's a larger light.
