I'm really curious if anyone has driven it in either direction, but mostly uphill?

For those that don't know it's an optional part of the Rubicon trail, just outside Buck Island Lake.

Downhill is still pretty hard, but going uphill from Buck is a very tough trail with high chance of body damage

In one of these new broncos? Highly doubt it. I have done it numerous times up and down in my crawler but, I only just received my bronco in December so gotta wait for the snow to melt first! Lol

That is Big sluice, and is waaay easier than old sluice.
You can see on the map I posted, there is a light grey line marking "True Big Old Sluice Box".
That section is easily the hardest part of the trail and is gnarly if you try and drive it uphill from Buck

It's still cool to see Loren driving his pretty mildly modified Bronco through the trail though :D

I see thanks. I'm not finding anything. I know some early bronco guys who've driven it in the last couple of years, I'll have to ask if they bypassed old sluice. Knowing them they took the hardest route lol.

That's way more than ours will ever see. But fun watching what it can do.

Done it many times in my 2a but I would think the new Bronco is way to wide to come out intact...I don’t think l’ll try it with mine...

They did the old sluice and he doesn't think a new one will fit. One of the broncos with them had full width axles and made it but was sidewall crawling a lot of the places the standard bronco axles were clearing. The new bronco is probably close to full width axles, and the one in the video above looks like it's got spacers and offset, really wide.

For reference a JKU and JLU fit through, although on the way down it's pretty common to hit/rub the cage a little starting over the passenger rear door and back from there.
I even got my hardtop through it one time with some help :D

Going up there is pretty much a 100% chance of very hard contact on the cage as you have to bump it up some sections where you get pushed into some trees.

I'm sure someone will send it through there some time soon :D

Side note, looking for others who want to run parts of the Rubicon trail this summer in July?
