Hey all,

i’m getting around to installing my JL 12w7ae paired with an alpine PDX m12 and JL FiX82 DSP in my B&O system. I’m planning on removing the factory B&O sub entirely and mounting the amp and DSP in its place. Have any of you run 0 gauge wire from the factory sub location to the battery? Any issue with that thick of wire? I want 0 gauge but could do 2awg if necessary. Also is 16.5ft a good enough length?

I ran 0 no issues through the grommet in the firewall then down the driver's side to the rear. Not sure about the length as I had a 50-foot roll.

Thanks! Anyone else know length I should get? All the kits are around 16 feet which seems risky

My amp is where the B&O sub was (behind the trim panel) and 16' was JUST enough to the batt. I went up the passenger side, under the dash and out the driver side of the firewall straight to the battery.
