You think the order date within the order window mattered.Right, because mother ford has been so forthcoming and honest so far throughout this process. I also didn’t say that I believe that allocations don’t matter, but I can see how someone with poor reading comprehension would think that I did. All I said is that I’ve been told that special orders don’t count toward a dealer’s allocation, and have even seen where Ford said that in an email that they sent to people who are changing their orders to Raptors.
To me, it seems like some dealers who promised better pricing got flooded with orders, but it bit them in the ass because Ford still has to provide inventory to their other lower volume dealers.
I simply gave an account of my experience and said that none of us really know the formula to getting a bronco faster. You can hypothesize all you like, but much of what has been documented here has also been contradicted by other examples that have been documented here.
For what it’s worth, I do believe you that walking in to the right dealer at the right time can get you a positive result, because Ford can’t let four or five dealers monopolize their inventory no matter how much volume they move.
