At 7% sales tax which is kinda normal in Ohio it would be $46000. Any dealer that charges delivery is a scammer.
Literally every dealer will charge delivery. Usually called "destination."

Honest question. What is the significance of Ford's "Price Protection" if unscrupulous dealers can charge whatever they want? Seems like it's a feel good publicity statement, but actually holds no value.

And for those that have offers in writing, it would be a simple case to claim that was a MY21 order offer. Not MY22, MY23....I'm not personally concerned being with Granger, but could see it being an issue for some.

The victim of their own incompetence.

Notice how that sentence says the dealer will do those things. Not the customer. Doesn’t sound like the dealer verified pricing with the customer here, to me. Now the dealer wants to capitalize and you’re out here making excuses for them.

I'm not making excuses for any dealer. Until they prove themselves that they have integrity, I normally assume they don't.

This isn't a candy bar that we're buying. Anyone foolish enough to order a $50k-$60k item without knowing what the price is going to be out the door, kind of deserves what they get. It's grown up time. Hopefully they learned their lesson for the next time.

I've heard of "90 Day Fiancé", but "84 Month Fiancé" is just ridiculous.

Isn't there a $1400ish dollar delivery fee from Ford? I thought that was in addition to the vehicle msrp

yes that is on every Ford order and set. There is another dealer fee line, that is where you will see the good fuzzy math.

Not surprised by this at all. I've posted a few times in the ohio group about my past experience with Ricart. Worst dealership by a mile on shady dealings.

My dealer required $1000 down. They did the PA with tax, tag and fees included. The sales manager and I signed it and they placed the order. My dealer has been great to work with throughout the process now I just have to wait until next year for it to be built. But at least I'm in line.
