Thanks to Trigger I spent the week-end putting my platform together. I had to go taller to fit my sub-woofer. I also added a block at each top corner for a little more stability. It came out pretty good, will certainly provide more storage and easily collapsed to give the extra seating.

How exactly did you scribe the door latch bump out for your plywood? I can’t seem to get the perfect cut using cardboard as a template.

I apologize for missing this question last winter. I assume you solved the problem. Trial and error worked for me. Did you finish the set-up? I’d love to see a photo.👍🏼

This thread was the inspiration for my platform, same concept as OP but raised up so the dog could look out the windows.

Sadly I sold the Bronco, I think I'll try to sell the platform in the Market section of the forums, just wanted to thank the OP for his original post.

well done, it looks great. I am interested in the vertical piece that is up against the front seats. Looks like you have a hinge there. What is that about? Sorry you had to sell the rig, I am still enjoying mine. Glad my plan could help you,

Those pieces at the front were just a little more protection for the headrests in case the dog started to paw at them.

I also added some protection for the sides, used some heavy cardboard and covered them with very thin black rug, almost like a felt. I later took these out because they made opening the back storage area more difficult.

I was hesitant to sell but I still have my 76 to cruise in.

Nice EB! Do you mind DM'ing me a pic of the bulkhead for the half-cab? Is your bulkhead fiberglass or a factory piece? I picked up a half-cab top and trying to solve the bulkhead riddle. Thx!
