Hello! Selling a pair of Alpine S-S40 4" coaxial speakers. I was running these in the dash of my Bronco but decided to go the component route. They sound great and were not abused (they were always connected to 600hz bass blockers). Includes original box + packing material. $40 + shipping to your location!

I am looking at changing my Kicker speakers. How did you like the Alpines (assume 2 front and 2 on the back)

What do you mean going component route?

I liked the Alpines a lot, particularly in the front. I've heard the Kickers before in another Bronco and the Alpines (in the dash) have more highs. Sounds "sparklier" for lack of a better term

By component, I mean I used separate woofers/tweeters for the kick panels and dash instead of coaxial speakers. The shop I used for my amp/sub install talked me into it; I'm happy with how everything turned out, but honestly I'd prob still be happy if I had the Alpines up front - they're a great match even with the stock stereo powering it.

Changed my dash kickers to Alpine and agree, the sound is different. I did while waiting for the warranty replacement on my Kickers. Now, I have a set of new Kickers to sell in the box.
