I don't think they're on the forum anymore.
They’re not a sponsor anymore, so that’s probably why they don’t post here…

The fact that some remain at this point is compelling proof that the Stockholm Syndrome exists. 🤣
I was holding out hope UNTILL the 20 business day announcement till the next update, I did some soul searching over the weekend , cancelled on Monday and had the money in my account on Tuesday. WHAT A FRIGGIN RELIEF, really since then there has not been any more posts. hopefully, all the batch one got their money back. i feel for the newbies who aren't on this forum and have no idea what may be going on. I should be getting a call from turn todd this month as I am scheduled for a 8/19th shipment of my turn off road top. i am very excited about getting it and being able to install my OEM roof rack and my backup lights. --- I will post pics when its done. hopefully ADV will start shipping, but as time goes by there are too many red flags going up.

i believe most of the original forum members have gotten out and ordered other options. hope nobody loses money on this, that's my biggest concern until i got out

funny part is there advertising is all over the place saying how bad the oem top is. I have left comments(not rude) and they somehow keep disappearing

Same here. I can't help but leave a comment. It seems that I don't see their ads anymore. Perhaps they had a way of blocking me. Oh well. VERY happy with my Anderson Composites top !

Once you are a sponsor and lose that status, then the account is no longer able to post. You should know that. Though I suppose as one gets older, it is tricky to remember the details.

Unfortunately, could have been a huge success but too much misinformation and delays. For 7,000ish a top they should’ve just hired a skilled production team and built the tops in house even if the pace is slower from the start rather than try to maximize profits by outsourcing overseas. This is by no means an easy project to undertake (nor is it cheap to produce). Trying to recover R&D costs quickly without knowing if your overseas partners could replicate what you built here is too big of a risk in my eyes. if I were them at the start, I would’ve evaluated all of that before moving forward with this expensive project.

Anyways, we’ll probably never know the true story.l (we can make logical assumptions). But hopefully for those holding on… they ship soon. And hopefully with the all cancelled orders, there’s a surplus of inventory in the container(s) so those looking for a hard top can order one for immediate shipment.

I wheel with one of the testers so I get to see the ADV one in person and see how it’s held up and I am impressed.

Armadillo did it right. Yes, it has taken longer than they initially said, but they put together their process, did it in-house, listened to feed back, and they will have a phenomenal product to deliver to the customers built right in Texas.

Notice when the little fella is pushing down on the hardtops his elbows are locked on the OEM and “3rd Party” ones, but not the one-off prototype ADV movie prop 😂

Well if this ship sinks (I really hope it doesn't and all those holding out get their top), looks like he has a fall back job.

for my own curiosity i dropped by their webpage and chatted with them. They said still 16 weeks to get a top, but would not comment on how close existing order deliveries are. Something something July was all they would say....

for those who stick around hopefully the top works out for you

Great intel! So to put this in perspective, the current delivery window is 16-weeks, which is what its been since November 2022 (a little over 80-weeks ago)?
