after digging around I found and ordered the following from Amazon.
8 pcs Torx t handled crv screwdrivers t10 t15 t20 t25 t30 t40 t45 t50 sooooooo thats one part. 19.99
also a single 17mm jaeger ratchet wrench 9.97

wasn't as expensive as I imagined

I should be good to go, all i need is the top

with all the fricken one time use tools i have acquired over the years i would have thought i had this covered NOPE. the worst offender is my boat, always seem to need something special to get in a bad spot and then never need it again. or of course pay the mechanic.

Its been a few weeks since the rubber "landed." Anyone get a shipment notification or install date?

that means most likely, they are putting them all together first and then will start shipping them in mass. makes sense in that there seems to be a lot more involved than just putting the molding on the pieces. i assume the molding goes on the glass also , etc etc. with time and manpower constraints this mass effort at putting them all together first and then start shipping may be the fastest way to catch up and make everybody happy. purely speculation on my part, but thats what i would do. i liked that i saw they were applying glue to the molding, at least thats what it looked like on the video.

Probably the case, I'd prefer ship as completed though like Anderson is doing. If only to see them in customers hands sooner. Not to mention those who financed the project the longest should get them earliest.

I couldn't agree with you more

And I thought originally that was their plan. The rubber fiasco messed them up and they are doing the best they can

I wonder how delivery scheduling is going to work with this plan?
how much leeway in date are you going to be able to manage?

Please don't assume I know anything about what's going on at ADV, it just seems reasonable that that's what happening.
Shipping
Scheduling should be interesting. We are almost there. The purchaser of my soft top was all excited when I told him the molding is in and the tops are forthcoming.
He's dying to get the soft top, and also wants to see the hard top. I definitely will have my helpers around school is out. June 16th in ct.
