The threads I've seen all talk about using a plug and play harness but they seem to be upgrading the amp so it seems I should be able to order the standard harness from ford.

No.

That cable is the A2B cable only used on B&O audio systems.

The 2022 radios don't have the output for the subwoofer, so you have to get the signal from the front speakers and use a Line Output Converter to the amp. Here's the link to the article I did on Adding a 7 Speaker Sub to a 2022 6 Speaker Base Radio.

Coupled with some upgraded speakers front and back, the Kicker adds a nice bottom end and some thump. Easy install too. Plenty of bass (by my 60ish ears), as long as you're not looking to rattle license plates and windows.
