We are on our way back to Kansas city from Colorado Springs, and with the sun on us the whole way back, it is getting a little warm. Anyone who has driven through western Kansas knows it is just a giant wind tunnel, so taking the top down/windows down isn't an option.

Turned the AC on and it is nothing but warm air. Tried turning it to auto, same results. Tried max AC same .

We are halfway home right now getting g gas and letting the Bronco "relax".

Anyone have roadtrip troubleshooting suggestions than I can try? Or ideas of obvious mistakes i might be making?

Make sure all your fuses are seated securely

Thanks for the suggestion. I mean that sincerely. I dont want to come across as an asshat.

I checked that, unless there are more fuses then under the hood in the main fuse box.

I will double check in the morning and will update once I find something.

Check your setting for the blower selection(ie. front, footwell, defrost). Mine did this awhile back and I had to reselect( a couple of times) the blower selection to front only. Don't know why this caused it, but it worked and has been okay since.

I mean it's something your dealer is going to have to address. But if you pop the hood and watch, your AC compressor should be turning. Meaning the clutch should be engaging. You might check that just to see. One of my older cars, the AC wasn't working and it turned out the clutch would not engage because sensor had gone out and wasn't letting the ECU know it was okay to run the AC.

Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this AC concern on your Bronco. Thanks!

No worries didn’t come off that way at all. Was just trying to think of a quick on the road solution as I’ve heard a lot of people mention some of the fuses aren’t securely seated from factory. Hope you got it working

Ok, the Bronco went to the dealership this morning. They just called and said it was a faulty tx valve and it will take 3-4 weeks to get the part delivered.

I am not sure what the tx valve is, so I guess I have some research to do.

Not super happy, but going to try and not let it dampen my joy of owning this rig (at least not yet).

We got my Bronco less than 3 weeks ago and discovered within a week that unfortunately the AC wasn't working.
Took it in, tech said the AC had not been charged from the factory. Tried that and sadly didn't help. Waiting for rental car availability to take it back in this week for AC, doors are not aligned on the driver's side and it requires the body shop, and remote start not working.
So sad, as we LOVE my Bronco outside of these issues.

Lol...not charged.. that would not surprise me at all. If it also not surprised me if something wasn't tightened and it all leaked out.

But sounds like there's something more going on here. Once they sort it out let us know. Of all the things that are going wrong with these Broncos, I actually think the AC would be one of the lesser of the evils... At least the car's not yelling at you or leaving you stranded.

Just had mine stop working today.
Owned for maybe a month.
2.3 eco boost 10 speed auto.

It tried to blow cold a couple of times, but now it seems like it’s done with working at all.

Hi there! I can take a look into the issue you're having with the AC on your Bronco. Can you send us private message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer?
