You know if you think I'm going to read all that your nuts. I've been working for Ford going in 35 years, currently Dyno testing f-150s Dearborn Michigan. For my next purchase It was either the tremor F-150 or a loaded Bronco. I chose the Bronco WildTrak, people often refer to it as the poor man's Bronco Raptor.. I did my research, More than enough and it's superiority over the lower trims. I put $20K down, along with 7.1% from my credit union and my discount plan from Ford. I did pretty well. I know what I wanted in a vehicle that I researched for quite a while.Ok so let me do some math here. My Basesquatch V-6 was 40K. Most of the WT I have seen are 60K, or more. Granted some things are different. Fox shocks and a stronger rack being the 2 major things different.
12" screen wasn't standard on a WT. (until 24 when they all get 12" screens). WT has cloth seats just like my Base, just a different pattern. WT gets dual climate, as far as I am concerned the Bronco is small enough you don't need dual climate. On a side note the wife's '23 Explorer Timberline has dual climate and I gotta say I still do not understand the purpose, you are in a car, how can you make one side 72 and the other 62, not gonna happen. You can get leather seats but they are not standard.
In other words if you get a no option WT and a Base V-6 w/ Squatch they are nearly identical, but yet a big difference in price. I know I was looking at WT while waiting for my Basesquatch to get scheduled.
As to you point about the optical illusion. I remember when the Warthog first started appearing someone posted a pic of a regular Bronc and then a pic of the Warthog. The problem was both Broncos were not together in the same pic. They were separate pics. So the reg Bronc was far away and the Warthog was up close. The poster said "Look the top is bigger on the Warthog, It's a monster" I tried to explain to them that it was an optical illusion (not to scale was my wording) and of course I was cursed to the high heavens that I didn't know what I was talking about. Which is fine with me, you don't have to believe me but I have been in this business for a very long time and waited three effin years for my Bronc and am on this site and others EVERY day. But hey WTF do I know right??

we can do this without issues, thanks to the Fox Shock of Hoss3.0 and raptor steering rack, more fun that badlands slow rock crawl. Baja mode is a beast and Sport mode in dirt, o yeah
