Looking at picking up a set of the 4" rigid 360s with backlight. Is the additional harness required for installation if you have the overhead switches on your bronco?
Please PM me for pricing.

There is no harness with Rigid 360-series, at least not one needed on the broncos with aux switches. Rigid cheaped out and just gives you some bare wires on the back of their light, so you just have to extend those.

You don't need that. That has a switch/relay. Since you have upfitters you just need to extend the wires (easy) right to your upfitter.
Great! Bronco won't be ready until mid January. But I will go with you guys when the time comes.

I’d like to know this as well I’m thinking about getting the same lights. What color you going with I like the blue but think there illegal in NewJersey
Scroll up :) I just responded. You don't need the harness UNLESS You don't have upfitters. If you have upfitters you just need to extend the wires to your aux wires. Rigid 360 series just have 3 wires on the back that you have to extend. There is no plug in harness. And since you don't need a relay with aux/upfitters, you just have to extend them.

I DO NOT recommend anything but amber back lighting. Blue is against the law in NJ and NY as it's designated for first responders (volunteer fire/ems in NJ and volunteer fire here in NY).

Stick with amber back lighting. OR you can still do the blue but ONLY use it at shows/etc.. NEVER on a public road you'll get a ticket.

I'm a KC guy. Anything coming down the pipe either for KC products, or in conjunction with KC? I'd like to run their stuff in the "ditch light" position.

We sell KC. You can run any of their lights under 4" or so without getting in the way of your antenna. PM me, we can price out KC for ya

I have some KC lights. Installed them yesterday and they press up against the antenna. I would like to move them out away from the antenna.
I have a set of baja brackets, I'm using the double light bracket from rigid. Not sure what there worth. PM me.

Rigid used to be THE to go brand, and they spend more on advertising then anybody else. But these days Baja Designs surpasses everybody in my opinion. Born in the Baja world they built their products to last. Their quality is just so much better then everybody else out there. It's also a different style product then everybody else. They assemble them in California and the housings and bezels just have a superior finish then everybody else.

These days Rigid's normal lights are just like any light on the market. Their 360 series are different though, as are their SR series. But their light bars/D Series lights are just like everything else you see knocked off. So i'm not a HUGE Rigid Fan.

I'd recommend:

Baja Designs
Diode Dynamics
Rigid
KC

in that order. Baja for the reasons above, Diode over Rigid because Diode spends a LOT of time and money dialing lights in and testing things. They make a fantastic fog light and assemble their stage series lights in america which is great. The warranty isn't as long as Baja tough and their finish isn't as durable as Baja (but i'm hoping that changes as I've given them some feedback). They make a nice light.

Then Rigid because they have some unique offerings and are still good (i'm just NOT a fan of Rigids PACKAGING I think it's the worst i've ever seen where the lights are ALWAYS bouncing around in the box).

Hope that helps.

Why is KC last? I find that strange. I've seen Rigid stuff disintegrate on the trail. KC, nothing's ever gone wrong.

KC doesn't spend enough on marketing perhaps?

To be fair, 4x4TLED knows lights. It’s their business after all, and they sell all major brands. I imagine they’ve seen thousands of user reports, not to mention warranty claims etc. I chose them for my lighting needs for that very reason, and they were super helpful and friendly the whole way. I’m sure they would love to sell you any brand you desire, but since I don’t know a lot about off road lighting, i took their advice on going with BD. While I haven’t installed them yet, the quality appears top notch, not to mention the bad ass upfitter harness they included with the purchase.

OK, so maybe I'm a total idiot with my general selection to go with KC over all these years. Duly noted, and you may very well be right. But I did run those lights, and they did run great, and I've seen a couple of the higher-rated lights on the list posted on this thread just now fall apart on the trail. I realize that's anecdotal fact-mongering, so I'm keeping it in check, I'd just like to hear a couple of facts back, rather than "they know their *** and you're a dumb***."

That's just me, nothing personal.

I have some LP6s for the bumper and KC ERA4s for the A pillar. Both look great but the hi/low on the LP6 is a feature others don't have. Both have amber back lights I'll wire to DLR. Just need a bronco.

I'm just not a fan of their products is all. I'm not saying they are bad, that's just my personal order. Some folks are big KC fans, but we're not here. We do sell them but it's not a product a lot of folks request from us.
