Reading your post convinced me to contact Chat again myself. 8/29 to 9/5 to 9/12 for me as well. LMAO!

Last Saturday Ford Chat told me 9/10 build day. Today they tell me 9/6. I shall only bug them once per week.

Look at the bright side -- we are guaranteed to be built by the end of October at the latest. The finish line is in sight...

Velocity Blue and Carbonized Grey were my two choices. I went with CG. I think it's one of the best colors.

9/5 scheduled build. 2 door, Black Diamond, 2.7 non Sas.

My biggest issue with the CG is that with the MIC top it looks like they are trying to match but don’t. The other concern is that while it may look great while squeaky clean in the sun, I live up a 1/2 mile dirt drive so our vehicles are never ever squeaky clean.

I suspect this has something to do with how it was originally ordered. The dealer I’m using didn’t have anything to show us of the actual paint colors other than iconic silver on a mustang. It was a touch overcast out and a brand spanking new car in that color looked dull. We put down CG simply because something needs to be entered and it seemed safe. A couple weeks later we got to stop by a dealer half way across the state that had a bunch of Broncos on their lot (all sold). The velocity blue looked great so I called up my dealer and made the change.

The strangest thing about this is it was showing VB even when first scheduled, then bumped. Then suddenly changed. I wonder if there’s some double checking processes where someone saw the original order but didn’t see the change to VB and thought it was an error.

I got the opposite. Last week it was 9/6, today 9/10.
