I had some warranty issues with my 2021 Wildtrak taken care of last week. They replaced the entire 8" SYNC system, which requires removal of a few trim panels on the dash. I noticed these screws exposed above the glove box after service. The technician swears there aren't caps/plug here, but it seems odd to me. I never thought to look up from that angle before.

Can someone with an untouched dash confirm if there should be plugs covering those holes?

There should be covers, but it is weird because I’ve worked on a few Broncos that didn’t have them either.

This is one issue amongst a handful of other things that aren't correct as a result of this service visit. I know it's cosmetic, but it's still annoying to have those holes. Especially now that I know about them. What are the chances of getting the plugs installed when it goes back to have the other stuff fixed?

Update: My dealer has agreed to replace these parts. Along with the other items they damaged during the service visit.

I'm shocked that they might have been missing to begin with. I don't think I've seen an exposed fastener on a vehicle interior in many years.

Thanks for the information!

I have a 2023 and I don't have them. I took the dash apart to add cameras and noticed they were missing. The video I watched for the dash removal clearly had them.

No covers on my '23 standard HE, they're BB based so I guess I could forgive them not being on mine but WT is $20k more! Honestly if you never posted I'd have never even looked either way doesn't bother me.
