yeah, I'm sure that's it.
I see your Portland sarcasm and I raise you mile high reality.

What result or impact do you think firing 11,000 employees in three months had on production and delivery capability?

As I sit here despondent waiting for my Pony I cant help but think Fords pattern of going woke with the EV farce and pumping up their ESG score by terminating 10,000 employees has something to do with their delivery system being broke....

Very likely…one of the folks that “earned” a pink slip was our dealership’s scheduler (someone that actually gets things done, unlike the sales rep).

from the article you posted:

"Building this future requires changing and reshaping virtually all aspects of the way we have operated for more than a century," Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford and CEO Jim Farley said in a letter to employees on Monday. "It requires focus, clarity and speed. And, as we have discussed in recent months, it means redeploying resources and addressing our cost structure, which is uncompetitive versus traditional and new competitors."

The automaker will inform affected employees in the U.S., Canada and at Ford Business Solutions in India this week. The company will provide benefits and "significant help" to find new career opportunities."

It's fairly normal for a business to restructure in the face of industry change.

Clearly, some percentage of those employees are overseas and have zero effect on my bronco being delivered. So could the potential layoffs from a restructuring affect the ability to deliver a vehicle? Sure.

Is it from "woke-ness"? Absolutely not. Ford saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the market and took The opportunity to fill it. Will they market it as "good for environment" yep, because that will make some people buy their cars. And really, that's all any major company wants.

For what it's worth, I love all the spread sheets. I can track more than Ford chat seems capable of.

I too just want to move along, drive my Bronco and watch football.

Cheers all!

LOL, yes I also have read the rose tinted cooperate reports and press briefings from the PR team. What is being said is often not as important as what they are telling you. Learn to read between the lines my friend...

But alas, you still didn't answer my question you silly flat lander... what result or impact do you think firing 11,000 employees in three months had on production and delivery capability?

Feel like I did, but people see what they want to see. You have to balance what's on the page and what's between the lines, my friend.

Our friend Iconic Bronco tells us his dealership's scheduler was laid off, so most certainly some of the future deliveries at that dealership would be impacted.

Hope you get your bronco soon.

It has been reported that union jobs and blue collar workers were not effected. Only the white collar jobs (They may have let go their software logistics team, which explains the long, inconsistent times for the trackers to update). So no, it did not effect production. Delivery capability is through contracted shipping vendors. Who have been reported by multiple links in this and other build weeks, that there have been rail embargos and trucker shortages due to having hard time hiring people.
So don't try your "woke" bologna sandwich for an excuse to be made at simple answers. I get it we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and want our broncos, and we're all waiting impatiently after years of nothing. Breathe, relax, have a beer and know it's almost here..."Hang in There" 😂

Nope, not very magic at all. I may change it back to “Reply Hazy, Try Again”. Although, I had a lot of bumps prior to 8/8 and there is a built rig in Mich with my name on it. So a little magic.
Fingers crossed for the group to see some movement.

Bronco life was simpler before — window sticker visual, modules populated, tear tag issued, and built status verified. Waiting for something you know is real is a huge distraction.

I am glad for your little magic after the bumpy road you had getting here.

Hopefully September supplies the rest of the Magic we are all looking for

Just checking in on this thread and joining the many others who are likely built (hopefully?) but still showing as "In Production" going on 20+ days now. I'm in the Denver area and going through a larger dealership... they've been really cool and told me that I'm showing as built on their end with a delivery estimate from 8/29 - 9/4, so.... this week. Praying to Jeebus that's the actual case. I'll keep my brethren here updated for sure.

I am at 21 days "In Production". My large dealership in Dallas said mine is produced and "most likely" on the way and trackers are not updating. Not sure he is correct, but I am hopeful. My ETA at the Dealer is 8/31 to 9/6.....I need to quit looking at later build weeks that show them as Built, Shipped, and even delivered. Happy for them, but painful not getting updates.
