8/8/22 Build Week Group.

I called ford today, (for the 100th time) and to my amazement I have a VIN! they also said I'm scheduled for 8/8 build week. When I called my dealer he said Congrats, however they had not emailed him yet. Any insight on this? I didn't get an email From ford and neither did my dealer. My order date was 9/03/21 re-order date 10/08/21

Hi - similar to you, I only found out about my build week, when I randomly reached out to Ford Chat. It was 6/3 and I had a 6/13 build week (I was later bumped), and not even my dealer had reached out. I called my dealer to ask WTF, and he said that they don't receive a list or email when VINs are assigned. Unless they go into the system and look for a specific order, they are not notified. Not sure if that is BS, but I thought I'd share. If your build week gets bumped don't expect to hear from Ford either, you'll need to reach out to them (Ford chat, or call customer service)


Ford has never sent me an email through this whole process, not even a confirmation of my order, no build week email, no built email, no shipped email. I only get those Bronco off-rodeo emails. I've just had to reach out to Ford chat to stay on top of everything. But once you get closer to your blend date start using https://ordertrack.app/ . Your window sticker and other updates will appear there faster than they do on the Ford Tracker website. Try to enjoy the ride.

Yes I’m 8/8/22 and my dealer is useless.

Okay, go to your backdoor site on Chrome and do the following:
1. Hit F12
2. Then in the Console sidebar that opens, look for "Mappable Values > Object" click the arrow.
(A drop down list will appear)
3. Scroll down until you see "orderVIN" (it's alphabetical btw)
4. There you should find your VIN in red text

Thank you for your insight, yup! I didn’t even know my first build week was 6/27 but thank you for letting me know you have a similar situation with the dealer… I don’t trust them at all. I don’t care so much about how long it’s taking, just so scared it will get sold out from under me🫣

I just tried Ford chat they where useless he says they will absolutely not give out VIN numbers and they only can track special vehicles like Raptors Etc.
how did some of you get Vin’s ? I still haven't heard from Ford since 10/21

Ok this is weird I finally got an email today that has bumped me up to 8/1/22 and a vin at least they know I’m here.

Past week I've been in the 8/8 club, spoke with Ford Chat this afternoon and got a VIN but few hours later I was also moved to 8/22....figured it was to good too be true
