I was pushed to '22 due to dealer allotment, now I wonder if it will be '23 due to delays. I might as well buy a Tacoma and trade it in two years. Maybe there will be a bronco available by then.

Two things...

They're calling something "snazzberry"!?

That price makes the Defender and it's options in that price range seem like a steal. YMMV.
She picked the color. I’m getting a pretty good deal on it if I didn’t include in the recon package it would only be $6000 more than my first edition.

So my dealer told me today that with the canceling of scheduling this week he was unable to change anything on the stock units he has to schedule. Before everyone freaks out the only things he is allowed to add are door keypads, front license plate brackets and change the color. Looks like his units will be base and BB automatic 2.3 with the mid package at best.
Poor dealer. At least he's getting something other than a stupid ass sticker, that was probably made by Webasto and has no adhesiveness.

Makes me all the more secure moving my order to 22/23 to get the options I want (7spd and sasquatch), probably would not have gotten my base base second day res this year anyway. Not a good look for Ford...

Maybe a little less caressing and a little more building and we might be able to actually see some of these on the road 🤷‍♂️

Yes you should. Tacos hold their value extremely well.

I think my two door might be built and sitting in a lot somewhere with a defective hard top. I had a production date of July 1st. Haven't heard anything since.

Well, with this news on Monday, it should be amusing to see the dumpster fire of an email they put out on Friday.

Probably in the most tone deaf email of them all, they will announce the new “Delta Variant” Bronco.

I’m on the get rid of Ford from the forum band wagon, not like they say anything anyways. We should start a petition to the @Administrator
Just because Ford isn't saying anything doesn't mean they're not listening and taking notes. They're playing it smart be keeping quiet since practically every thread turns into a cluster. Getting involved in that wouldn't look very professional for them.

Everyone is all bent out of shape but what they fail to realize is it’s just a future build week and vin. Look at how many people have been bumped 2/3 times with their build date already. The emails are for the month of September possibly more . They can send everyone’s email out the last Thursday in august for the builds in the first week in September. It would actually be smart of them to do that. That way they know 100% they have good tops to ship so they’re not sitting in a yard getting eaten by mice waiting on a good top.
