At this point, Ford dealerships should require a larger deposit. Maybe $5000 or $10,000 cash or be preapproved. This would clear out the people who ordered two or more, don't have the finances to afford it and the ones that just reserved a unit to sell it. What do you think?
Move up the buyers ready to purchase! :)

My only issue with that is you're ordering a vehicle you haven't seen or driven in most cases. I agree with your point on it weeding out some people, however it's a large commitment for most people to put that money down and possibly be waiting until 2022.

Even if it was 100% refundable I'm not sure how well this would be received.

Only if they're offering market interest rates on that deposit.

It would also clear out all the people that lost their jobs because of COVID and are praying they get late delivery and land a job before their order arrives.....
I can’t even get the last two stimulus checks.

I just think it would be unfair if a person that put down a $100 In July, just did it to play the system. I've read too many posts of people giving up there only vehicles to save for the Bronco. Maybe there is some other way...any ideas?
