Makes no sense. Ford Land has lots all over the place much closer to MAP. Roush is contracted to complete builds. Those are parked at Roush facility. Too much of a coincidence. Also, I’m not saying our Broncos are there. I was telling you the backlog is still huge.
The backlog is definitely more than 10% of flow and production.

My source is telling me that these broncos held in Allen Park are all complete and are waiting on convoy. He is pretty sure if ours are there they are complete and waiting on convoy and that any broncos waiting on parts are in the holding lots at MAP. Convoy dispatch and priority comes to MAP first anything else is secondary. Idk anymore
The Ford Rep I called earlier went off script, seemed to be extra sure and was dropping hints that I was definitely in line to be shipped. No hard evidence, of course, just reading tea-leafs.

They have no idea when your Bronco will ship. They go by the same estimated delivery window Ford posts on the tracker. I appreciate your positivity.

Another Wildtrak, Lux, 3.0 with 6/28 built date just shipped. Things are moving slowly but they seem to be moving.

Well my small dealership got 2 broncos in yesterday. And there was one built on 4/11 week that was delivered in May then I was the only one to be built in May. So that means these 2 were built in June. I’m so frustrated!!

Just passed by the lot in Allen Park and I would say that 95% of them were non WTs. Walked up to 2 of the WTs there and they had blend dates of 6/6 and did not have the lux package. Could it be they are missing screens or the heated seats and heated steering modules? The 5/23 build week broncos don’t seem to be held there.

That makes sense; there may no longer be a Wildtrak problem but there is definitely still a Wildtrak H.O.S.S 3.0 problem. If there are a few mods that still need to be worked on i’m guessing they still may be behind the scene somewhere instead of on display with the finished products.

Btw Ford doesn’t even show me the courtesy of sending me an email when they push my delivery window; or is that not a thing?

I’m thinking the Wildtraks are held up at the “gated” area in MAP. What most likely happened is when they produced the higher trims that week is they didn’t factor in some options and the just in time manufacturing process failed them that day and missed an option. It may not be a HOSS missing component I’m thinking either the screens or a module which doesn’t make it safe to drive either to Belleville or to the downriver area. What bothers me the most is there is no way the missing components whatever they are are taking this long to acquire and install. I would say the lot had 95% BL and BB trims with mid packages.

Your not missing much I only got one email for the push back on the fifth push and it had the wrong dates. When I called the bronco customer service line they said they are going through a huge upgrade and that was over a month ago…. Can’t get anything right from them

The logic is sound. The bottomline is that Ford’s has made things worse with the secrecy and inaccuracies in its status updates like telling me with a straight face that the only holdup is carriers to pick it up. Not sure why they do not trust people with information.

It’s definitely not the carriers. The rail yard is attached to the factory and the jack cooper car haulers are waiting across the factory on Michigan ave in 2 huge lots begging to get loaded.

I never said my Bronco was at Roush 9. I said they have had Broncos passing through the Roush 9 lot over the past few months. I was told Roush employees are installing chips and parts in all of the lots - MAP and elsewhere. MAP doesn’t have enough employees to run the line and finish thousands of Broncos parked in the lots. They asked for volunteers to work in the lots over the 3 week shutdown to help finish as many as possible before production starts back up.

My Bronco is missing something related to the Heated Steering Wheel & the Rear Bezel Backup Camera. I was told many were missing the same parts as mine.

I believe it never left the MAP parking lot and it won’t be delivered anytime soon. I believe I will be waiting like the people that have been waiting on chips and parts since January, February, March & April.

Then my source is right. She mentioned the heated steering wheel as one of the missing components. I believe all 5/23 orders which have not been delivered are still at MAP. I didn’t say yours or mine would be at that lot but I passed by today and saw maybe 5 WTs. The 2 I saw were 6/6 builds so who know what components they were missing. I saw haulers also in the lot getting ready to load up a few to who knows where. I do not see light at the end of the tunnel just waiting at this point and getting a kick out of the false dates ford keeps pushing out automatically that mean nothing.

I think your research has given us a lot more detail than Ford has. What I can’t fathom is why the secrecy. Why can Ford not push out an email and articulate the problem and update people every couple of weeks on what has been done and what is left? THERE IS NO SUPPLY CHAIN SHORTAGE OF GOOD COMMUNICATION.
