I had a similar experience on 07/06 (the start of my 2nd delivery window) where I first used Ford chat, followed by a call to customer service to get an update. Both responded that it was waiting to be shipped and no holds. They were also so kind to suggest I use the Ford tracker web page which as we know is useless and works half the time.I do. my 3rd delivery window was 7/2 to 7/8. I called Marketing after I found out they said my Bronco was still just waiting on shipping no holds. After I got off the phone with them I drove to the dealership ( 1 mile down the road from my house) and found out they had just gotten a delivery of 4 Bronco's none of which were mine all build dates after mine.
Sales rep and myself called marketing back together got the same response no holds still waiting on shipping. In other words they're either fucking clueless or Ford has adopted a new strategy of of withhold build/hold issues from customers and dealerships.
Have asked that on Monday they get their regional Ford rep involved to get answers as to what the real story/issue(s) are.
I then called my sales rep who was receiving 4-5 Broncos at that very moment from a delivery but none of them were mine. He and his sales manager called Ford and got the same run around. He suggested the delay may have been due to a windshield recall but wasn’t sure.
I have 3 theories- 1) there is something wrong with the HOSS 3.0 that Ford doesn’t want to tell us and is trying to fix, 2) my Bronco has been lost on a back lot somewhere near MAP and Ford forgot I really wanted to buy it from them or 3) FMC is made up of idiots and this is why I should never have broken my rule about sending money to the State of Michigan. Go Bucks!
I don’t believe any of us will have a vehicle by 07/14 if we’re still in the “awaiting shipping” phase. So, I’m anticipating our delivery windows will be pushed again by next Friday.
