They normally shut down the entire operation during changeover with only skilled trades working. They do annual maintenance and repairs they can’t be performed with the plant operational. This is also when they install new equipment and updates that are required to build the next model year. I seriously doubt they will continue shipping during the shutdown. I could be wrong. With the plant shutdown, are you sure shipping stops as well? I was thinking that only affects production. The lots should still be operational, but nothing really surprises me anymore.
-It seems to me once Ford indicates that your vehicle has been built and released for shipment, the type, build, constraints considerations are replaced by the logistic considerations and the decisions of the carrier.
-This is why there so much lack of visibility in the process during the "awaiting shipment" period. Obviously the the mode of transportation is a factor but also, the amount of inventory and routes are important as well. Some carriers may be waiting to accumulate as much inventory and maximize space utilization in routes with few vehicles especially with these crazy gas prices. All these are decisions largely within the discretion of carriers, subject to agreed delivery window.
-Meanwhile we the customers, and Ford to a lesser extent, are are left guessing.
That said as one of the "awaiting shipment" folks here I should probably learn to count my blessings especially with thousands of reservation holders still wondering when they will be scheduled. Still, i can't help but be impatient and it's even worse than when i was not scheduled because then i had no hope.
I’m just sad. Seems like we are in the same boat. Being local and not very far from MAP sucks. Congratulations to those who have theirs now in other states but lol we are local!Ford is left guessing as well. They want our vehicles delivered ASAP.
100% I saw broncos at my dealership with blend dates of 6/1 and 6/8 already deliveredIt is very sad as I am also only about 4.5 hrs away from MAP. It's even more bothering whenever some other broncos are delivered that were produced after mine.!
Badlands are among the most easy trims to build if you don’t spec them too much which seems to be the case for you based on the pic.Well this seems suss. Built in a day? Is that normal?

Same deal with me. Built 6/8. I’m in my second delivery window. My dealership is 20 miles away (Crest Ford). I’m completely out of patience.Ditto. We are in the same boat…. My delivery window came and went twice. My new delivery window started todaywhat sucks the most is that my dealership is less than 2 miles away from MAP!!
Pretty sure there have been a several rate hikes since your order dateI'd like to get some update. I was blend 5/23 and built 6/5, 6/11-6/17 delivery. AND then crickets....my dealer has been unhelpful as well as chat. my dealer jokes that I seem to know more than him about the bronco status!! hahahaha ... yeah right doofus.
sorry, i'm just beyond fed up especially since the fed just raised rates 75 basis points and i have had this damned thing on order since 6/8/2021.
