Unfortunately we no longer have our stock skid plate, but I took some pics of where it bolts up to help determine compatibility (excuse the dirt).

Hey man thanks for answering that's great, they good quality? Do they hang down low or pretty decent, don't want to loose to much ground clearance.

Quality is standard for skids and they tuck up nicely. Bolt placement is good to keep the heads protected. The cutouts allow for some dirt to escape.

Just installed 4WP 61271W Trans Skid Plate. I did this as a standalone. There was sketchy information if it would fit the Badlands because of the Sway Bar Disconnect but after measuring the clearance it was slightly more than the factory Disconnect skid plate. With that being said it did seem like a long skid plate without a center brace. So I cut the mounting tube off the factory skid plate and welded it in the same location onto this one. Now I have the best of both worlds. Transmission covered as well as the sway bar disconnect.

I really like your idea of bolstering it even further. Is there any way you would take a photo and post it for me. I sure appreciate it, I just installed mine tonight (same part #) and am happy with the coverage...but if I can make it better I'd love to steal your idea. Please and thank you.
