MGV cleaning tested after Badlands submerged in mud water hole!

This guy does a hell of a job real world testing and cleaning the MGV interior. Of course there is mud in places that you would never get out unless you gutted the whole interior!

Supposedly even without MGV, there are multiple drains under the floors. So it'll drain anyway, but I can imagine water getting trapped in there under MGV and starting some not so fun rusting.

My interior was filthy after last week but it was all dust. I appreciated how well a damp micro fiber cloth cleaned up the MGV.

This kinda makes me rethink the necessity for washout floors if water just gets trapped and sits there. It will smell horrible and will have to rip out the floors like this dude did.

Note to self - do not believe ‘never been off road’ ad for EG BD from NY.
unfortunately I have experience with running in mud and deep water. Not only does mud go on the floors, it goes under the floors, in the door sills, inside the frame rails, into the harness, inside the doors. It gets every possible place you can imagine and you can never clean it out, and it attracts moisture and will rust. For years whenever I did work on my JKU, if I removed a part that hadn’t been removed before I would always find piles of mud in places you never see. If you choose off-road it hard it’s just the price you’re gonna wind up paying. Enjoy your bronco. That’s what it’s for. As for me, I do everything I can to stay to the edge of the trails and out of the deep stuff when it comes to water and mud. I prefer the rocks. I’m trying to keep this bronco in a little better shape. We’ll see how that goes once we get a fun challenge on the trail. Fingers crossed.

Lol… That’s not my truck, mine is a garage queen w/ 129 miles on it, and it’s never been off-road
