4 Degrees F with Soft-top

Pretty cold out this morning, driving home from the gym in my shorts, heat set to temp 74, Low Auto Fan and I am turning the heat down while running 75 on highway. If you live in a winter environment, and are worried because you switched from Hard to Soft Top, don't be. The heater in the bronco works great.

Does the Roof make more noise. My Jeeps were the worst in the Cold Months. The chatter from the stiffer material drove me nuts.

If you're someone who gets cold and has a soft top, buy the Bimini top (@GearShade sells them aftermarket) and buy those foam egg crates from Walmart. Put on the Bimini top, put the egg crate on top of that and then close the soft top to lock it all in.....redneck insulated top for winter.

The ultimate critic reported back on this. Gave the 5yr old a ride to the bus stop when it was 29 deg out, no complaints. and he's a complainer.

Interesting, because I’m getting zero heat out of the underseat vents. It’s a complaint I’m going to log at the first service.

Not 100% sure, has seen it on another forum, don't have my rig yet for another month or so. Can't hurt though with the egg crate deadening some of it I would guess.
