drawbacks of early ford pass activation
I still don't have my bronco. It's In Production and all the free / trial services are coming to an end.

I am in British Columbia. Still not builtI'm 5/5...still not shipped to Ontario. Torture.
I was told about the activity on the 3rd in regards to mine as well but I wasn’t told what it was.Just got off the phone with the Ford 800 number. Still, no updates on ETA, and been in production since 4/26, but the young lady told me that there was activity on my account on June 3rd. She didn't have a ton of detail but did say there was a note saying, "Dana rear axle amendment." Anyone else heard anything like that?

I called them twice today and spent a long time getting any details. Kept asking if there is some note / detail or anything. They kept on saying nothing other than it’s awaiting update.Yes they told me same thing about an axle issue”-June 3: amend to rear axle. Code P703N”
No idea what that means and the code is for a ranger…
@malt_liqueur Talked to my salesperson last Wednesday, she seemed optimistic it wouldn't take long to get to the dealership, but haven't heard anything since. I was planning to check back with them tomorrow since it will have been a week.No word from your dealer yet @Scoops McGooch ? Mine gave me the very non-definitive answer of “sometime next week, probably” when I inquired Friday afternoon
let me know what you hear!@malt_liqueur Talked to my salesperson last Wednesday, she seemed optimistic it wouldn't take long to get to the dealership, but haven't heard anything since. I was planning to check back with them tomorrow since it will have been a week.
I figured this is just one more step in the process that the dealer has no control over, so trying my best to be patient. At least when it was on the train we could track where it was!
Bash plate is indeed steel.I would be interested to know if you get steel.
Same on mine. I think we only hear about the issues/complaints people have on this forum and don't realize how the majority of builds are just fine. People are more likely to post a complaint/issue than a "this came as expected." It breeds anxiety and worry in us while we wait for our Broncos. But on the other hand, it is good to keep yourself informed and know what issues to look for before signing the paperwork.Bash plate is indeed steel.
Well, I only really went in with pricing anxiety and it got a little tense a couple times. They came back out with sticker price and the $2595 discount and I had to get a little huffy... But I had the document from Ford that shows that you can be eligible for both offers original price protection (mine was $2595) and model year increase protection (mine was $3400).Same on mine. Havent heard from the dealer yet but my status on the tracker changed to Final Preparation this morning. Maybe this means it arrived this morning at the dealer?@malt_liqueur Talked to my salesperson last Wednesday, she seemed optimistic it wouldn't take long to get to the dealership, but haven't heard anything since. Yes those items get added at the mod shop. Time varies for everyone, but I suspect it's a couple of weeks. Keep in mind that there is a couple of recalls going on that seem to really be slowing up shipment. Mine had no mods and it took 5 weeks to get on the train.Does anyone know if accessories like a roof rack, keyless entry keypad and brush guard are added to the vehicle after it comes off the assembly line? I don't ever recall seeing a production line photo with those items.
My blend date was yesterday and the modules were populated this morning. Just trying to figure how much more time before it is fully ready to ship.
Thanks.
Yes!! Congrats, you're really close. Mine was at the dealer for 4 days in "prep".Havent heard from the dealer yet but my status on the tracker changed to Final Preparation this morning. Maybe this means it arrived this morning at the dealer?
