As others have noted - i think some of the smaller dealers with ~10 allocations may have gotten a demo VIN and a 1 priority VIN, and came up short this week for the early res guys. I think this is why I got shafted, as I am a #2 at a dealer with 10 allocations. I know last week he received a demo VIN (and maybe the priority build). If he got anything this week, it was probably allocation #1. I will have to wait until next Thursday, so it seems.

So....... if a person didn't get 1 of these "Your Order" emails after placing order at the dealer, would that give reason for worry? Several emails have gone to salesman with zero response.

Log into your Ford Account. If your reservation has changed to "in-store order" you should be good. If it still shows as a reservation...you got a problem.

No. I refuse to remain calm. This proves the reservation process was all just a scam. What was the point of me making mine very early in the process, having my shit together for my order, placing my order on the first day the banks were open, just to get pushed behind somebody that decided on a whim 4 months ago that they wanted one??

I got my email today but I absolutely agree with your claim that the reservation process was a scam. I reserved the the night of the reveal (at 1 am) and was outside of my dealers allocation by one slot. If it wasn’t for someones cancelation I wouldn’t have gotten in.

Seriously though I’m just as surprised as you guys are! I did nothing special to reserve. Just the $100 deposit and a few phone calls/emails between me and my specialist.

I do recall a casual mention of them “trying to fill their allotment of 80 before the deadline“, maybe that has something to do with how quickly my order was put through?

Yeah, in my opinion. The size of the dealership shouldn’t play a factor. But, Ford has their algorithm in selecting these builds. Hopefully it’s not the same developers that developed the reservation system. It might be crashing while trying to send the emails out

Unfortunately I am still with LHM and they are still garbage to work with absolutely no concept of customer service and in most cases clueless as hell when it comes to anything Bronco related.

Aint it funny tho. Only led to the Larry H Miller family parlaying their horrible car dealership experience in Utah for 50 years into selling a billion dollar sports franchise. Who says sucking doesn't pay

I’m super confused because I have the same reservation as you, but my time stamp is almost three hours earlier.

Everyone needs to understand and accept that comparing timestamps on here is an absolute waste of time. Comparing our timestamps is completely meaningless unless we are at the same exact dealer.

At this point nobody knows. We've been lectured by mathematicians that its an algo and that's end of discussion all the way to the top salesman got a Bronco before a single customer cuz he's a hell of a sales guy. Whatever. It appears timestamps are not as meaningful as advertised.

It's not your fault you're the benefactor of whatever the hell is happening.

Even that doesnt seem to matter.. Zack at Granger said Ford pulled a late reservation base for production when he told them they were likely getting a 22'
It seems to be commodity driven and as someone else pointed out, they might have an algorithm in play.

Mine showed up at 9:38 MDT. I was originally at LHM Draper but I called on the phone and they were being weird so I called Ken Garff West Valley and got changed over.

This morning, I got the e-mail from Ford and the ordering manager at Ken Garff called while I was reading it to validate my build and make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I laughed and told him, "At this point, pretty much anything could show up and I'd happily drive off in it." Then he said, "You were in earlier this week getting your sales guy to print it off, weren't you?" "Yep, I was checking to make sure it was exactly right."
