It's possible insurance will cover the tint also. If you don't have glass coverage it would be recommended. It sounds like 30% is legal in TX which is why they used that. I have 20% and supposedly that's as close as you can get but I say the factory rears are a bit darker.How’s the front darkness and color match with the rear windows? Most people I’ve seen went with 20% for matching.

based almost solely on this review, I plan to do similar. Heat reduction is a major goal so I’m planning to even do the rear windows for an extra $100.Minor mod but yields significant satisfaction with on long hauls out of Texas!
