I've been blissfully running LREs on all my 4x4s for years. It may not matter in your use case but It's been many years (I actually can't remember one) since I've had a puncture running rocks and sticks and cacti all over CO, UT AZ et al. I run 32 psi on my Bronco with 265s.

This is one of the reasons why I wanted a LRE because I have been slowly getting into more difficult trails and would like slightly more confidence.
I also have to frequently drive to Cincinnati and the roads are so bad you almost need LRE to avoid blowing up a tire on potholes.
