A couple of issues that come to mind. You further lower the gear ratio and you’ll need to recalibrate your speedo. That’s why I chose the Badlands.....for those 33” AT tires that IMO are best suited for the freeway than the 35’s
Good to know. I’ve been bouncing between a Base 2.7+Sasquatch and a Black Diamond.

Have you been to Ford.com to even look at the models pictured?? Am I missing something??
Most likely, if you can't see a difference, it is because it is minimal ....they're also most likely CGI because nothing has been mass produced yet.

The 315's are 34.4 ....
285/70-17 = 32.7
265/70-17 = 31.6
255/75-17 = 32.1
NOTE: the 255 is actually taller than the 265 because of the different aspect ratio.
Note 2: There is only 6/10ths of an inch difference between the 255's and the 285's.... a whopping 1/4" from center.

If there is a 1" difference, that's only 1/2" from the center in either direction....not a huge difference height/clearance wise, but as stated, it can change the look somewhat....nothing major.
I did that on my F250, nobody noticed.
What's this website you speak of? Ford.com you say? Not sure I've ever heard of it. Also it's kinda hard to see exact detail of things like tire size through CGI, and no way to tell if they were done true to scale. I was more looking for people's opinions and experiences that they had from having 32s vs 33s on their wranglers, 4runners, trucks, that kind of thing...

Note: If you want to talk about seeing difference in tire size with CGI shots lets take a look. I went ahead and put your handy-dandy tire size on the pics!
Ford Bronco 32s vs 33s (vs35s) Big Bend Tire Siz
Ford Bronco 32s vs 33s (vs35s) Badland Tire Siz

That 6/10ths of an inch sure looks like it makes a hell of a difference to me! But who knows because these haven't been mass produced yet... Again was more looking for past experience.

Note 2: My post that you quoted was more of a rhetorical question. A curiousity if you will...
Note 3: I'm not trying to decide between 32s,33s, or 35s on my Bronco hoping someone will notice it, only for what I will notice and what I want it to look like.

But thanks for your help.

Look at the tires on a non Rubicon Jeep. The 32” tires look like they are off a mall crawler as the street oriented tread and rounded crown make the tires look much smaller than the 33 in tire.....the same size as what you find on a Rubicon that gives it the beefier look

Yeah (and this is what I was trying to get at in post #3, maybe i just worded it poorly ?‍♂) Im curious if an aggressive tread on a 32 will help make it look better or beefier, and to help fill out the wheel wells. But I don't think we will know for sure until we see that in real life pics.

For reference. The white Jeep has 33 duratracs and the red Jeep has 35’s.

33’s are a good compromise. On my current JL 2 door I have 33 KO2’s. Very good on the highway but still look good.

I reserved a Badlands and really like that is comes with the 33 KO2s.

I wonder if I can go Black Diamond and add the 33" KO2s from the Badlands... might be a dealer question.
Not from the factory, but for a price your dealer will gladly put them on for you. I am putting 285/75/17s on my BD before I drive it off the lot.

Also in the BD group and want bigger tires. I wonder how wide the wheels are and how 33s would look on it(offset, etc)
Steel are 7.5in and aluminum are 8in. 285s are generally as wide as you can go on 7.5. 20mm won’t be enough to really change looks or be a rubbing issue because it only sticks out 10mm farther. They will be taller by about .5 inch though.

The Generals on the BD are 31.6 inches. I think some will be disappointed.

For reference, it seems a set of 5 KO2s costs around $2500 with basic aluminum wheels.

I reserved a 2 door Badlands and I am strongly considering leaving it with the 33's that come on it. I think that's probably the sweet spot for me and on a 2 door especially, I imagine it will look great.

Long post, bear with me lol

So I've reserved a 4 door big bend. It comes with P rated 32s. On this two door the size looks 'decent', however I'm curious if they will look small on a 4 door. Either way it desperately needs a more aggressive looking tread imo. (Also not a huge fan of those wheels) So my question is to those that have experience with this, in your opinion would there be any, or much, difference in looks and functionality between 32s and 33s?

Bonus 35s talk: I'm a 2.7/auto guy and I love the way the Sasquatch wheels and tires look, and the stance it gives the Bronco. However I'm not gonna be taking my $43,000(?) daily driver rock crawling. So with that said I don't really need the things that come on that package. Also initial $$$, gas mileage with 35s and 4.7 rear end(even though I'm not an MPG guy at all), don't need MTs and the $$ it will take to replace the 35s when the time comes make me iffy on that package. So what is y'alls opinion on practicality for 35s if you don't need them? And would 32s/33s be able to recreate the same look?

I AGREE. I Won't be getting the 35's. 33's maybe (do they offer the 33's?) 32's may be a little small.

The 33" KO2s are really a great tire from the factory. if they were different or less aggressive, I would maybe change my mind, but included, I am using the money for other options

I drive around on the road with 33" KO2s on my wrangler (load range D). The stated tire size is 34x10.5, but they measure 33". Many 35x12.5 tires don't measure more than 34" when mounted. I like pizza cutters or tall thin tires. The weight and noise and crappy wear on 12.5" and other wide tires isn't for me. If I'm going offroad I usually put the OEM 32" KMs back on my wrangler (load range C). They are more aggressive and work very well when aired down. I'm not driving the wrangler as much as I used to, so I may eventually just put on 1 ton axles and 37" tires just for the hell of it. Then I'll get a trailer and haul it behind the F150 to the more difficult trails. Tires cost too much to be wearing them out very often.
