"Kids" include children in car seats and car seats are ever increasing over the years. I couldn't imagine strapping in a rear facing baby in the back seat of a two door.

Naa, couldn't disagree more. When I ordered my Bronco 4D the 2D wasn't even a thought. The 4D is way more brawner looking- probably the reason why Ford doesn't offer a 2D Bronco Raptor. besides being more versatile and useful. The only thing(s) really the 2D has going for it are they're more cute and less MSRP

unless you got a Braptor or a wide body kit and at minimum 38s, your 4dr doesn't look brawny, it looks goofy

Okay, but remember YOU started this.....Aww, did I hurt your feelings? with I'm guessing an owner of a stubby cute bronco? My 23 4D WildTrak is already coming with a 2-in lift from the factory along with Sasquatch's 35s & 3.0 hoss susp along with a ton of extras options pushing sticker MSRP at $72K+. With her added mods piling up in my garage, "goofy" doesn't even come close to her lol, But explains your intellect spot on.....Go chase a Jeep down a deep well

it's a good time. i see Chet from Weird Science when i look at the hard top of a 4dr. and the soft tops look like someone can't quite put a tent together correctly. all in fun. practicality is subjective as are looks. but i'll be driving the shit out of this 2dr obx soon.

I personally like the look of the two door better but opted for the four door for the extra storage space. I have a 170lbs wolfhound that is my camping buddy who needs some space beyond what the gear in the trunk offers.

I have been exploring the idea of removing the rear windows when I do the rear seat deleat and fabricating a access door in place of the rear door windows along the same lines of what velox offroad is producing for the back trunk side windows.

Pie in the sky, but for my use case that would be perfect.

I get it, and I fully understand. Being divorced, there are more than a few points to that rule and there are some things other than possessions that money just can't buy or bring back for that matter, mainly being time wasted in a relationship- But that's a whole another ball game. But yeah, I get it- to each their own

I have four doors and I like it so that if someone other than my dog needs to ride with me my dog can still come.

That and the cargo space is great. Fold down the seat and it’s got tons of room for all kinds of stuff.

also longer wheelbase is great for high speed whoops!

I just came back from a Lake in the Eastern Sierras and took my two dogs and me in my 4 door for the first time. I thought I over packed and ended up using just about everything I stuffed into it. If I had a two door I would have to ditch the roof top tent and use ground tent, to free up roof rack for stuff. Planning a trip to Colorado for Fall colors from Tahoe. That will be a test for me.

I got the four door.

Subjective/practical reasons:

1) I like the extra range with the 20.8 gallon tank. We have another place about 335 miles away, and even with the non-SAS tires, the two door with the 16.9 gallon tank would be at the edge of its range (on interstate 16 and 95 in south Georgia, I drive at speeds where I doubt I'll be at 21+ MPG).

2) Even though the kids are now in college, and its just me and the wife, we will still have an occasional backseat passenger who is up in years. Easier for that person to get in and out.

3) I wanted a big Bronco, like the 1978 Big Bronco version I drove when I was young (which was a two-door, I know). Something obnoxious.

4) I wanted something with a slightly longer wheelbase. I'm moving from a Lexus LS-460, which is quite a difference.

That being said, the two door is a sharp looking vehicle. A friend of mine has the two door, and it just looks snappy.

Can't go wrong either way.
